Providing valuable resources for our Real Estate Buyers and Sellers is our top priority. After you have found your desired home, it is time to make your offer to the owners. In most cases it is better to have a third party such as a real estate agent negotiate the offers. Many buyers aren't sure if what they are offering is appropriate. A good strategy is to ask the real estate agent for a list of comps, which are homes that have sold recently that are similar to the house you are interested in. You can use this list to get a good idea of what the house you are interested in should be sold for. If you have any personal interaction with the homeowner, don't give out any information about your move, your financial status, or your feelings about their property because that could hurt your price negotiations.
